Here are the notes I have - it's missing from the beginning I think.
Ches:
Conditions when it’s not yichud:
1. the door is OPEN to reshus harabim (even if this person is immoral or his business involves women).
• 3 conditions cancel this rule:
1. No passers by – more than 5 minutes no people pass by
• 2. Late at night – when people aren’t in the streets anymore
• 3. Someone you’re friendly with
2. If the door is closed, but not locked, but it’s normal for people to walk in without knocking.
3. Shomer – another person that will cause that it won’t be yichud
sister, daughter, mother, or grandmother of the man
father, son, grandfather, or brother of the woman – her mother in law, sister in law, step daughter
a girl ages 5-9 or boy age 9-13
some people say you need more than one at night
4. If the husband or wife is in the same down
because of the fear of the spouse
if husband is like 45 minute drive away, doesn’t count as same city
can come back quickly
if husband gave permission for her to be alone with him, then it’s assur – because there’s no fear of the husband
assur if she’s friendly with him – even if husband is in city
5. If husband is in city, but the man’s business is with women, not allowed – only way she can is if his wife is in the same apartment.
Yichud with more than one person
Some say that 1 woman can be together with 2 men, as long as them men aren’t prust = someone that doesn’t keep a halacha of arayos (shomer negia etc)
In a place where people don’t go buy needs to be 3 men & they all have to be ksheirim.
7. 3 women can be together with 2 men
DOCTOR
You can only be with a doctor if there’s one of the conditions mentioned before. Secretary there etc, door open, people can come in, wife has the key.
If the clinic is in the doctors house, if the wife if the doctor is at home – then the patient can be locked in with the doctor even it’s locked with a key.
If the doctor comes to the woman’s house – if her husband is out of town – or if her kids don’t have the key – you can’t be in locked room with the doctor.
GOING IN A CAR:
A car that has windows and there’s people passing by, there’s no problem with yichud. This also applies at night when the streets are light.
Going from city to city – highway – or on place – a car has to pass by at least once every 5 minutes
In the case where its dark & no cars
1 lady can go with 2 men – like in a taxi –
if a place where no people pass by etc:
on a bus & left with the driver – she has to get off but if it’s more dangerous
If the Shomer is sleeping but if theres a husband & wife it’s ok if they’re sleeping.
Women 3 and more are allowed with 1 man
Shiur yichud is 2 minutes – can’t be together more than 2 minutes
With tinted windows you have to open the windows
Shomer Negia
Assur min hatorah – before she’s married she’s considered nidda.
Starts with boys from 9 and girls from 3.
All the people we’re not allowed to marry – brother
Can’t hug or kiss – only mother, father & grandparents can you hug or kiss
PROFESSIONS
All professions that have to do with medicine – even if alternative medicine (chiropractor, massage therapist, reflexology etc) – totally allowed
Professions that have to do with beauty: makeup, haircut, manicure,
Not allowed
Lifeguard or gym instructor – a jewish man lifeguard for women is not allowed
If he’s not jewish some say it’s allowed, some say it’s not
Chabad goes according to that it’s not allowed
The same thing with a gym instructor etc

Da Ma Shetoshuv - role of women
here's notes on ONLY the first topic:
Women’s Rights
Sometimes people see such an extreme they think they go to the other extreme – equal rights for women
The results were the exact opposite of what they wanted – that’s the movement that created the biggest feelings of women being put down – tell them you’re not allowed to live according to your unique qualities & characteristics – you have to fight that to imitate something else
True equal rights means that a person can reach their true shleimus
Torah says a halacha that a man can’t wear women’s clothing, and that a women’s not allowed to wear a man’s clothing.
Every person has their unique shlichus and purpose in the world – and they reach their shleimus through that.
Women have the most important role, that there should be a continuation of yiddishkeit – the next generation. It’s not only an obligation, it’s a shlichus.
True – eishes chayil talks about women doing business. But it’s done in a tznius way, and never at the risk of her job of raising children.
Feminism came from imitating what men do – not understanding what women are naturally good at.
A girl cannot become an akeres habayis overnight. When a girl is being educated she has to be taught and be aware of her mission in life.
What about parnassa? Hashem gives parnassa and He will give enough for all the children He will bless her with.
There are people who are concerned about the fact that a woman can’t get an aliya to the torah. Yes, an aliya gives you a great aliya b’ruchnius – but that’s not the type of aliya for a woman. If it’s against Hashem’s will there can’t be any ruchnius aliya. She can say amen and think about the concept of an aliya and that’ll be her aliya
The way to be a keili for Hashem’s brochos and achieve shleimus is when you use your nature and talents you were given.
Someach b’chelko – not only in material things, in your portion Hashem gave you.
